Health Care Benefit Offered!
One of the most basic needs of our community is healthcare. We all get sick and need a doctor, especially one that we can access quickly and afford. Well, we are excited to announce that we have found a way for the Thurston County Progressive Network to help members with their healthcare needs.
We established a task force to meet with and review participation in a new system of receiving general practice doctor care. This program is offered by an Olympia doctor, Richard Faiola, MD, and is called DirectCareMD. This new and innovative healthcare delivery program is meant to bring doctor and patient together without the control and paperwork of insurance companies.
This is a monthly "subscription" program for general practitioner doctor care at an affordable price. The clinic is located on Olympia’s west side. Through our "strength in numbers," we were able to have the program opened up to all business and individual Pro-Net members. This program is a great way to care for basic medical needs, put people before profits, and help remove the price gouging and bureaucratic process of insurance companies.
You can see the doctor, have x-rays and simple tests, and leave the office with no bills or extra payments!
