This concert– on Saturday, June 10, from 7:00– 9:30 p.m. – will take place at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts on Stage II in the Black Box. The Seattle Raging Grannies will give a thirty-minute performance beginning at 7:00 p.m. Dana Lyons will perform two sets with a short intermission and fundraising auction between. A baked goods, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverage concession will be available for the your enjoyment. Come join the fun!
Dana Lyons. Every movement has its minstrel; the unions had Woody Guthrie and the environmental and democracy movements have Dana Lyons. Dana weaves comedy, ballads, and irreverent wit with a beautiful baritone voice to motivate and empower his audiences. His lyrics call us to action and inspire us to know that we, as individuals, can make a huge difference as instruments of change in our world. His music will make you think, laugh, cry, and laugh again. Not to be missed; this will be a highly entertaining community building and consciousness raising experience.
