Do you want to learn about publicly financed campaigns? Do you want to help with the effort? Join us on a rainy Saturday afternoon to discuss how to make it happen in Washington! :)

Washington Public Campaigns will explain how public financing of political campaigns will reduce big money special interests' influence over the electoral process. The event is free and open to the public by prior registration.

WPC volunteer Bill Nerins will direct the session just like you would if you were speaking to a group for WPC. He will start with begin by showing the short video "Clean Elections: Changing the Face of America" narrated by journalist Bill Moyers.

Discussion will follow about the Maine and Arizona models for publically financed campaigns shown in the video and how they can work in a non-partisan way in our state. Attendees can expect to depart much better prepared to talk about the program with others.

To register for the seminar or for more information contact Annie Phillips 206-275-1393 or via email annie@washclean.org.
