Bev Harris from Black Box Voting (www.blackboxvoting.org) will share her views from the voting security trenches.

The Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation Social Justice Committee and the Alliance for Democracy's South Sound Chapter presents movies on Anti-War, Corporate Power and Consumerism with a Conscience on the FIRST Friday of EACH month at the Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation sanctuary. Discussion and local organizing follows the movies.

The Nica Greentruck Project (NGP) is an international solidarity effort between Evergreen students and Nicaraguan farmers cooperating to combat poverty and build local food economies in Nicaragua by creating a farmer-to-farmer exchange of information and technology on renewable energy transportation. NGP’s first goal is raising $2,000 to purchase mechanical parts for converting a diesel truck to run on waste vegetable oil.

The May Day Secret Cafe is a fundraiser for this year's May Day Celebration and Solidarity March at Heritage Park. At the cafe on SATURDAY, APRIL 22 from 7-9 p.m., we will feature the local folk band FAST RATTLER. We will have Eastern European cuisine at the ABC House.
