Sun Dec 28: Feast of Holy Innocents Peace Vigil to remember child victims of war. This day remembers 2000 years ago when Herod killed baby boys throughout the region where baby Jesus lived in a jealous attempt to kill his rival. Nowadays, children are still victims of weapons and policies, but our government dismisses their deaths as “collateral damage.” We will challenge this dismissal and the continuing war policies that create more child victims. Vigil from 12 noon to 1 pm in downtown Olympia on Fourth Avenue west of Water Street, near the fountain, across from the Oyster House restaurant. Info: Bob Zeigler (360) 570-0848.
