Organize Web Content
It is really important to have at least a basic grasp of how information is organized at TCPronet. When users are interacting with the website, they locate information by choosing the political and/or the action type of the content. These kinds of filters are available by choosing from the "Politics" and "Type" menus on the left column of the website.
At a high level, we have three different ways of organizing a given piece of information (content):
-- website content type
-- political category
-- action type
Let's consider each of these.
Website Content Type
This describes the functional category of the information, and is really more about our own website configuration and security. You choose this by selecting a content type under the "create content" menu. Examples are Calendar Event, ActionAlert, Poll, Book Review, etc.
Political Category
This describes the contents of your information - what issue(s) are you addressing?
Actin Type
This describes what the content is asking viewer to do - is this a call to action? or a fundraiser?
In the end, consider the options under the left side menus "Politics" and "Type" and hopefully you will get an idea of how each piece of information can be associated with one or more items from each section.
